Sponsorship of "2025 Tonami Tulip Fair" in Tonami City, Toyama Prefecture

KOKUSAI ELECTRIC CORPORATION (President and CEO: Kazunori Tsukada, Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan) will co-sponsor the 2025 Tonami Tulip Fair, to be held from Tuesday, April 22 through Monday, May 5, 2025 in Tonami City, Toyama Prefecture.

In order to meet the increasing demand for semiconductor manufacturing equipment due to the growth of the semiconductor device market, we have been operating our Tonami Manufacturing Center in Tonami City, Toyama Prefecture since October 2024. As a company newly based in Tonami, we decided to co-sponsor the "2025 Tonami Tulip Fair" to be held in Tonami with the aim of contributing to the city’s sustainable development and regional revitalization.

Under the theme of "Spreading Waves of Color with Tulips," the 2024 Tonami Tulip Fair will beautifully color the Tonami Tulip Park, the venue of the fair, with three million tulips of 300 varieties. This event is full of attractions, such as the "Geoglyph of a Large Flowerbed” seen from the Tulip Tower and Tulip Sky Walk, the 4-meter-high and 30-meter-long "Flower Otani (valley of flowers)," and the "Floating Tulips on the Water Surface” invented in Tonami.

Under the corporate slogan “Technology & Tai-wa for Tomorrow,” we will pursue economic, environmental, and social values from both business and ESG (resolving environmental and social issues and strengthening governance) aspects, with the aim of contributing to the achievement of SDGs and realizing a sustainable society and our group’s sustainable development.
