The Toyama Technology & Manufacturing Center of KOKUSAI ELECTRIC CORPORATION (President and CEO: Fumiyuki Kanai, Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan) received the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare's Award for the Promotion of Blood Donation and received a certificate of commendation from Reiko Ariga the Director of the Welfare Department Toyama Prefecture at the awards ceremony held at the Toyama Prefectural Office on Monday, July 29th.

The Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare's Award for the Promotion of Blood Donation is given to organizations that have an especially outstanding track record in promoting blood donation campaigns and are recognized as exemplary organizations. To contribute to a stable supply of blood, we regularly hold blood donation at our Toyama Technology & Manufacturing Center, where employees volunteer to donate blood, and we plan to continue doing so in the future.

Under the corporate slogan "Technology & Tai-wa for Tomorrow," we will pursue economic, environmental, and social values from both business and ESG (resolving environmental and social issues and strengthening governance) aspects, with the aim of contributing to the achievement of SDGs and realizing a sustainable society and our group’s sustainable development.
