KOKUSAI ELECTRIC CORPORATION (President and Chief Executive Officer: Fumiyuki Kanai, Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) has been recognized as a 2024 Silver Partner by TABLE FOR TWO International, a specified non-profit corporation. This marks three straight years of recognition from 2022.

TABLE FOR TWO (hereinafter “TFT”) is a program where payment for a service purchased turns partly into a donation to be used to provide school meals for children in developing countries in order to resolve global food imbalances while improving the health of people in both developing and developed countries.
We agree with this activity and offer a TFT set meal that changes from day to day in Mountain View Cafeteria, a company cafeteria in the Toyama Technology & Manufacturing Center. Ordering a health-conscious TFT meal produces a donation of 20 yen per meal, which is used to provide school meals for children in developing countries. Our group has a total of eight beverage vending machines serving as a TFT program; they are placed in the headquarters, the Toyama Technology & Manufacturing Center, etc. These efforts in 2023 have led to our recognition as a 2024 Silver Partner. The Toyama Technology & Manufacturing Center has implemented this program since 2015.
Under the corporate slogan of “Technology & Tai-wa for Tomorrow,” our group will continue to pursue economic, environmental, and social values in terms of both our business and ESG efforts (solving environmental and social issues, and strengthening governance) and thereby contribute to the achievement of SDGs, while aiming to simultaneously achieve a sustainable society and the sustainable development of our group.
