KOKUSAI ELECTRIC CORPORATION (President and CEO: Fumiyuki Kanai, Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan) is pleased to announce that its employee will make an oral presentation on the results of the joint research with Nagoya University Graduate School of Engineering, at the 2023 International Conference on Solid State Devices and Materials (“SSDM”), which will be held at the Nagoya Congress Center for four days from Tuesday, September 5 to Friday, September 8.
The SSDM is an international conference that originated in Japan where approximately 1,000 participants present the latest achievements in solid-state devices and materials research and discuss how to solve technical issues. It will be held for the 55th time this year. The importance of solid-state devices represented by semiconductors is now being reassessed and lively discussions on them are expected. At the conference, we will present the analysis of the gas-phase reaction of hexachlorodisilane using thermodynamic analysis and kinetics calculations based on first-principles calculations.
